Your First Visit

New patients are always welcome in our busy Westfield chiropractic office.

We want to make your experience here at Jones Chiropractic to be as easy and comfortable on you as possible.  To do this we have decided to explain what will happen when you come to our Westfield office.

Since our clinic accepts most insurances and medicare, it is best to give the front desk receptionist your insurance information over the phone while scheduling a free consultation or an appointment with the doctor. This makes the time spent by the patient on the first visit to be greatly decreased.

We Explain Everything First

The purpose of your consultation with the doctor is to discuss your health goals and see if chiropractic is likely to help you. If it looks promising, a thorough examination will be performed and x-rays may be taken if they will help to identify the cause of your problem.

You will then be released for the day and Dr. Jones will examine the findings and x-rays after all of the other scheduled patients have been taken care of. This will allow him to have enough time to spend determining the best course of care from the examination.

Apparentlly, Westfield area chiropractic patients appreciate that we explain everything in advance!

Dr. Mark Asks some important questions of interest to Westfield residents - Chiropractor Westfield Dr. Mark Asks...

What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Westfield folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
What happens if you stop chiropractic care when you feel better?
Many Westfield folks recognize that this predisposes you to a relapse. Chiropractors know that muscles and ligaments supporting the spine don't fully heal until after symptoms subside.
